Appearance: Tall and lanky frame, golden blond, curly hair (when it turns silver, run!) and purple eyes. There's an ever-present bandaid on his left cheek, though there are no visible scrapes.

Iceland, but after being orphaned and taken in by his caretakers, he moved to Britain.

Backstory
Yogi was born in the darkness and snow of Northern Europe to a wealthy pureblood family, who loved him and adored him. Two years later they would give him a little sister he would dote on and love and play with. However, the happy life he led alongside his family would end, when he was 10 years old. The magical government of his country was performing some kind of experiment, when something went terribly wrong. The next moment Yogi new, he had lost his parents and his sister, who were torn apart in front of his eyes by a curse. This even was such a schock on the young boy, that he completely lost his mind and under the lingering effects of the curse, his alter ego was born. The silver haired Yogi, who is cruel and sad, who is the embodiment of all the bad memories and the trauma he experienced as a child.

He was saved by two government officials of an allied country, who came to their rescue. When Yogi cam to himself, he had no memory of what happened, or who he was, or that he had a dark side living within him. The two kind rookies along with another friend of theirs, took him in and raised him, doing their best to protect him from the darkness he held deep inside and one year later sent him to the happy and safe place known as Hogwarts.

His kind heart, his willigness to help and to protect his friends, along with his caring and unconflicting personality make him a prime example of a Hufflepuff student.

OOC: I kept Transfiguration and DADA for canon reasons, but he sucks at Transfiguration and he's average at DADA, because he's good only at the practical part, but he's terrible at the theory (especially definitions) and memorizing. I didn’t add Potions, because he’d never get an OWL for that.

Incidentally, though he's not the brightest student, he excells at protection spells and is one of the few in his class to be able to summon a corporeal Patronus, in the form of a Dragonfly, which is one of his strongest spells, proving that he's not stupid, or a bad wizard. He's just not good at studying and has a problem with focus, but where magic is concerned he has not only got talent, but also a great power.

Wand

His wand core is made of Unicorn, inserted into a 13 inch wand of a supple quality, made of Rosewood.

He’s gentle and pure, maybe a little wimpy at times and will rather back down, than get into a fight, but no matter who does what to him, his beliefs will never be compromised and for his friends, he’s capable of everything.

Wandlore
Unicorn
Unicorn hair generally produces the most consistent magic, and is least subject to fluctuations and blockages. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard.

Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may ‘die’ and need replacing.

Rosewood
Rosewood wands are quite rare. They are not very compatible with Dark magic as this wood represents love and purity. Rosewood wands are known to excel in love spells and healing magic. This wood has a strong sweet smell, which persists over the years.

History

Yogi was born in the small country of Iceland, to a high-ranked pureblood family. His father was considered to most likely become the next nordic minister of magic. In spite of being two influential purebloods, his parents were loving, gentle and caring people, who gave him, two years after his birth a little sister. It's a pity that Yogi doesn't retain a single memory of them.

After the tragic incident which made him lose his entire family, Yogi was taken into care by two British MoM workers, Hirato Woody and Tsukitachi and raised by them. He has mixed kind of feelings about them, since they can be pretty strict and sadistic (especially Hirato), but there are times their genuine care and concern seems to show and it confuses Yogi. There's also Akari, who is a friend of the family and helped them as well, though Yogi is terrified of him. It's thanks to Akari, that Silver Yogi, Yogi's alter ego is mostly under control and with Yogi completely unaware of it's existence.

Only a year later after being taken in by the duo, Yogi started at Hogwarts and got sorted to Hufflepuff, unsurprisingly. Hirato and Tsukitachi continue watch over his studies, pushing their little airhead forward. Yogi isn't stupid, but there are things he's not good at, like memorizing and complicated definitions. He learns a lot of things through experience and intuitively. Sometime in 4th year he started cultivating roses near the greenhouses and did fencing from when he was very little. He can fly well, but he dislikes Quidditch.

Personality

Yogi is a carefree, joyous and excited person. He loves having fun, taking care of people and making everyone happy. He's very giving and if he could, he'd knit something for every single person and animal living on Earth. He dislikes violence a lot. He has a gentle and pure heart and likes playing games of all kinds. You will either see him hang out with friends, knit or sew a thing or another, or have fun with different people.

Relationships

Yogi might be 17, but in his heart, he is still an innocent child. He knows what sex is and how to do it, but actually doing it scares him. He might be either asexual, or demi/grey sexual, but it's hard to say. More than about sexuality he'd care about romance and love. Having an emotional bond is more important and fulfilling than having sex. He also has a high aesthetic sense and a thing for all things pink, yellow, or any other vibrant colors. If he's staring at someone it doesn't denote interest in this case, it means he thinks you're beautiful.

But then again, for Yogi, every person is beautiful. On their inside.
